The Boat

The all new “Snappa” is a 46ft fiberglass custom sport fisherman. The hull is a Wesmac, built in Surry Maine, with the finish work completed by Fernandez Custom Boats. It is USCG inspected and licensed to carry up to 25 passengers. The power plant is a Caterpillar C-15, 853 H.P. diesel with a cruising speed of 20 knots. The cabin is completely enclosed with cushion seating, dinette, head with shower, galley and 3 bunks. A full compliment of state of the art electronics is located on the bridge.

Snappa Fishing & Diving Charters has been incorporated for 26 years. We offer both inshore and offshore fishing trips, shark cage diving, ash burials at sea, bird watching and lighthouse tours. Private groups and individuals are welcome.

We have been seen on National Geographic Explorer, NESN and Chronicle. Feature articles have appeared in the Wall St. Journal, Boston Globe, Yankee Magazine, and the Rodale's Scuba Diving.

All fishing tackle and bait is provided on fishing trips. Divers must provide their own gear. The boat provides two cages, a dive ladder and platform.
