Completed in 2008, the charter boat “SNAPPA” is a 46 foot custom designed hull, built by the Wesmac Boat Co. in Surry, Maine.    It is the largest and fastest sport fishing style, over 6 passenger charter boat in Pt. Judith, RI.   She is US Coast Guard inspected and certified to carry up to 23 passengers.    Its superior hull design makes it one of the most comfortable and seaworthy RI charter fishing boats operating in the southern New England charter fishing industry.  She cruises at 16 knots and faster when needed.

From the moment you approach “SNAPPA”, you will observe things that separate it from other RI charter boats.  The sparkling hull, custom designed boarding steps, and enormous cockpit, will immediately impress you.  The mahogany trimmed cabin with its 6’3”ceiling height and comfortable seating for 14 passengers which includes a 4 seat dinette is next on the list.  Twenty nine rods hang from the ceiling ready to catch any fish that swims within striking distance.  On the bridge you will find the latest in electronics with everything in duplicate. 

Extra rods, rigs, and equipment are ready to go if anything fails.  Fuel and oil filters, extra fuel and oil, anchors, engine parts, oxygen and resuscitation equipment are all available if needed.  During the offseason months, all equipment in the engine room is checked and doubled- checked.   All rods and reels are taken apart, rebuilt, lubricated, and packed with new line, to avoid equipment problems during your battle with the big one.
